- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. beet liquid
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3 c. sliced beets
Directions

1Combine cornstarch, sugar, vinegar and salt.

2Mix well. Slowly stir in beet liquid, blend to a smooth mixture.

3Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat until sauce is clear and thickened.

4Add butter and beets. Keep warm 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
