- beets (cooked or canned)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Mix sugar and cornstarch.

2Add vinegar and water and boil 5 minutes.

3Add beets, cover pan and let stand 1/2 hour.

4Just before serving, place back on heat and bring to boil.

5Remove and add butter.
