- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. mild vinegar
- salt
Directions

1Melt butter; add cornstarch, salt and sugar.

2Stir in the vinegar gradually.

3Continue stirring until the sauce boils.

4Add the beets.

5Keep warm until the sauce is a rich red.
