  • 3 c. diced or sliced, cooked beets
  • 1 c. liquid (beet juice and water)
  • 3 Tbsp. flour or 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. or more sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/4 c. vinegar

    Heat together beets and liquid.

    Mix remaining ingredients. Stir into beets.

    Cook, stirring constantly until smoothly blended and thickened.
