- 1/8 c. sugar
- 1/4 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- salt to taste
Directions

1Combine sugar, salt and cornstarch in a saucepan.

2Blend in vinegar.

3Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened or bubbly.

4Add beets and butter or margarine.

5Heat 10 minutes over low heat.
