  • 2 lbs beef stew meat, cubed
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 3 cups butternut squash, cubed
  • 4 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 12 cup chopped onion
  • 34 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 34 teaspoon dried savory
  • 3 medium zucchini, cubed
  • salt and pepper
  • 6 cups cooked polenta

Directions

    Combine all ingredients except zucchini, salt, pepper and polenta in a slow cooker.

    Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours, adding zucchini during the last 45 minutes.

    Season to taste with salt and pepper.

    Serve over polenta.
