Hash Brown Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. frozen hash browns
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (can use celery or mushroom)
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 1/2 c. each: Jack and Cheddar cheese (can use all Cheddar)
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Directions

    In a bowl, mix sour cream, soup, butter and onions.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    In 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish or 3-quart casserole, layer half of the potatoes, half of the cream mixture and 3/4 of the cheese.

    Repeat until all the ingredients are used up.

    Bake 1 hour at 350°.
