  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. melted margarine
  • 1/4 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 1 c. crushed cornflakes
  • 1 (32 oz.) pkg. loose hash browns, thawed
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter

    Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Combine cheese soup, sour cream, onion, margarine, salt and pepper.

    Mix well; fold in hash browns and pour into baking dish.

    Toss cornflakes with margarine and sprinkle over casserole.

    Bake at 350° for one hour or until golden and potatoes are tender.
