- 2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. melted margarine
- 1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
- 1/2 pt. sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper (black)
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. finely crushed corn flakes
- 1/4 c. melted margarine
Directions

1Sprinkle the crushed corn flakes over mixture.

2Drizzle with melted margarine.

3Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes, covered with foil.

4Uncover for 10 to 15 minutes to brown.

5Thaw hash browns in refrigerator for 1 hour before cooking.
