Hash Brown Casserole

  • 2 lb. pkg. frozen hash browns (Ore-Ida)
  • 1/2 c. melted margarine
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 c. grated cheese

Directions

    Mix all ingredients in large bowl.

    Potatoes should be defrosted.

    Drop in boiling water for 3 or 4 minutes.

    Pour into greased casserole and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

    Cover with 2 cups crushed corn flakes with 1/4 cup melted margarine before baking.
