Hash Brown Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. frozen hash browns
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 c. sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2/3 c. chopped onion
  • 2/3 c. margarine
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 c. crushed corn flakes

Directions

    Mix all together except for 1/3 cup margarine and corn flakes. Pour into 3-quart baking dish.

    Top with remaining margarine and corn flakes mixed together.

    Bake 40 to 45 minutes.

    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

    (I sometimes add a can of mixed vegetables and some ham or Polish sausage chunks to make it a 1 dish meal.)
