- 24 oz. frozen hash brown potatoes
- 2 c. dairy sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 2 c. shredded cheese
- 2 c. crushed cornflakes, mixed with 1/4 c. butter
Directions

1Place potatoes in colander.

2Let stand until completely thawed and excess moisture has drained off.

3Combine sour cream, soup and butter.

4Mix well.

5Add salt, onion and cheese; mix well.

6Blend in potatoes.

7Place mixture in shallow 2-quart casserole.

8Sprinkle buttered crumbs on top.

9Bake, uncovered, in preheated oven (350°) about 50 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

10Do not assemble over 2 hours before baking.
