  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 6 oz. pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 1/4 c. cold milk
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 20 oz. can crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c. maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 c. flaked coconut
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip

Directions

    Prepare cake according to directions on package.

    Pour into greased 10 x 15-inch jelly roll pan.

    Bake in preheated oven of 350° for 15 to 20 minutes or until done.

    Cool in pan.

    Blend pudding mix with milk; beat in cream cheese (room temperature), then fold in Cool Whip.

    Spread on cooled cake.

    Sprinkle drained pineapple over pudding, then cherries, nuts and coconut. Refrigerate until ready to cut.
