Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz.) can unsweetened pineapple chunks
  • 2 c. cubed ham
  • 2 1/2 c. frozen peas
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 1/2 tsp. lite soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. orange juice
  • 1 c. juice from canned pineapple
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch (optional)*

Directions

    Melt butter or margarine in an electric skillet or wok.

    Stir in garlic powder, soy sauce, brown sugar and orange juice.

    Drain juice from canned pineapple and measure out 1 cup.

    Add to skillet.

    Heat until simmering, then add ham, pineapple and peas. Simmer for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring frequently.

    Serve alone or over rice.
