- 2 lb. chuck steak (1 1/2-inch thick)
- 14 oz. can tomatoes
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1/2 c. diced celery
- 1 Tbsp. A.1. sauce
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. thyme or marjoram
Directions

1Cut steak into serving size pieces.

2Place in large shallow casserole.

3Drain tomatoes, reserving juice and arrange on top of steak.

4Sprinkle with onion soup mix and celery.

5Combine reserved juice with remaining ingredients and pour over steak.

6Cover and bake at 350° for 2 hours.
