- 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix with pudding
- 3/4 c. soft margarine
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 bag caramels
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- chocolate morsels
Directions

1Mix cake mix, margarine, milk and nuts.

2Press half of this mixture in 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.

3Bake 6 minutes at 350°.

4Melt caramels in top of double boiler with evaporated milk.

5Sprinkle chocolate bits over baked layer; pour melted caramel over and swirl into chocolate.

6Pat remaining cake mixture over caramel and chocolate layer.

7Bake 18 to 20 minutes longer; cool.

8Cut into squares.
