- 1 3/4 cups hazelnuts toasted
- 2/3 cup butter
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 5/8 cup dark chocolate
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon cocoa
- 5 1/8 tablespoons flour

1Preheat the oven to 160C.

2Grind the hazelnuts finely.

3Beat the eggs with the sugar, add the chocolate melted with the butter, hazelnuts, flour, cocoa, and vanilla extract.

4Place the batter in a buttered and floured cake pan and bake for approximately 35 minutes.

5Remove the cake from the oven and sprinkle with coarsely chopped, toasted hazelnuts and powdered sugar.
