  • 1 3/4 cups hazelnuts toasted
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 5/8 cup dark chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 5 1/8 tablespoons flour

    Preheat the oven to 160C.

    Grind the hazelnuts finely.

    Beat the eggs with the sugar, add the chocolate melted with the butter, hazelnuts, flour, cocoa, and vanilla extract.

    Place the batter in a buttered and floured cake pan and bake for approximately 35 minutes.

    Remove the cake from the oven and sprinkle with coarsely chopped, toasted hazelnuts and powdered sugar.
