- 1 c. raisins or chopped dates
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. wheat flour
- 1 c. quick oatmeal
- 1 c. All-Bran cereal (or other bran cereal)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
Directions

1Boil together raisins or chopped dates and water 5 minutes and cool.

2Combine dry ingredients and add raisin mixture.

3Pour into a greased 5 x 9 loaf pan and bake at 350° for about one hour.
