Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. ground turkey
- 1 large sweet onion, chopped
- 2 sweet bell or chili peppers, chopped
- 1 (12 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 can garbanzo beans
- 1 can pinto beans
- 1 can kidney beans
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 c. frozen or fresh corn (optional)
Directions

1Saute ground turkey in a large Dutch oven until no longer pink.

2Add the vegetables and garlic.

3Cook until crisp-tender. Add other ingredients.

4Simmer 30 minutes.

5Garnish with 1 tablespoon grated low-fat Cheddar cheese, if desired.

6Serve with crusty bread or tortillas. (Also good served over a baked potato.) Serves 6.
