  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 3 whole Onions, Chopped
  • 6 cloves Garlic, Chopped
  • 1 pinch Salt And Pepper
  • 6 ounces, weight Tomato Paste
  • 3 Tablespoons Chili Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 3 pounds Ground Beef
  • 6 cups Tomatoes, Diced
  • 12 ounces, fluid Guinness Beer
  • 2 cans (14 1/2 Oz. Size) Kidney Beans, Drained And Rinsed
  • 1 dash Hot Sauce
  • 1/4 cups Shredded Cheese

Directions

    In a large pot, add olive oil and allow to heat up. Add onions, garlic and a little salt and pepper. Saute until onions are softened, about 3-5 minutes.

    Add tomato paste, chili powder and cinnamon. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3-5 minutes until mixture starts to brown. Add ground beef and cook until meat is done; don't overcook.

    Add tomatoes, Guinness and kidney beans. Bring to a boil and then reduce to simmer. Add more salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

    Season with a dash of hot sauce and sprinkle with shredded cheese before serving.
