- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 5 egg whites
- 1 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. ground almonds
Directions

1Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

2In a large bowl, cream sugar and margarine; beat in eggs and extract on high for 2 minutes until fluffy.

3Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.

4Stir in almonds and spread into pan baking 25 to 30 minutes in a 350° oven until brown; remove and cool.

5Cut in desired shapes.

6Makes 4 dozen.
