- 1 cup butter (NOT margarine)
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 lb milk chocolate chips or 1 lb semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions

1In heavy saucepan, combine butter, sugar, and water.

2Stirring constantly bring to 300* on candy thermometer.

3Remove from heat - add vanilla and stir (careful, it will bubble).

4Pour into foil lined or silpat covered cookie sheet - sprinkle chocolate chips on top.

5When the chips melt, spread the chocolate over like frosting.

6After it sets, break into pieces and place in airtight container.
