  • 2 c. water
  • 1 c. rice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • 1 can evaporated milk, chilled
  • 1 c. pineapple juice
  • 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 pkg. cherry flavored gelatin
  • 1 c. boiling water
