- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion (medium), chopped
- 1/2 head cabbage (slaw style)
- 8 oz. cooked egg noodles (thin)
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 2 ribs celery, chopped
- salt and pepper
- garlic powder to taste
Directions

1Cook noodles according to directions on package.

2Brown hamburger, onion and celery in oil.

3Add cabbage and steam until tender; do not add water as cabbage will add moisture.

4Add salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste.

5Add cooked noodles for the last 5 minutes.

6Serve with green salad and French bread.
