Ingredients

  • 1 kg Filo dough- frozen.
  • 600 grams Grounded beef (very thin and not fat)
  • 1/2 cup Pine nuts - chopped.
  • 1/2 Onion - finely chopped.
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika.
  • 1 Salt and pepper to taste.
  • 1 dash Optional Bharat or sumak spices - middle eastern . - seasoning. (If you have it in your country)
  • 1 Oil - for deep frying.

Directions

    The filling : Preheat a frying pan with dash of oil.

    Fry the beef and add the onion, salt ,pepper ,paprika, pine nuts ,Bharat and sumak and fry till you get nicely brown color.

    Spread the philo dough and cut to medium cubes.

    Put in the bigining of every cube stripe of the filling.

    (cooled)

    Fold the corners of every cube inside and roll to a shape of a cigarette.

    (wet your hand to make the prosses easier)

    Preheat a deep frying pan and fry the cigarettes till nicely golden color.
