- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain and wild rice
- 6 chicken pieces
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 3/4 c. white wine or water
- 1/2 c. sliced celery
- 1 (4 oz.) can drained, sliced mushrooms
Directions

1Prepare rice.

2Season chicken with salt and pepper and brown in margarine.

3Spoon rice into a 1 1/2-quart casserole.

4Top with chicken, skin side up.

5Combine soup with wine.

6Stir and heat over medium heat until smooth.

7Add remaining ingredients.

8Pour over chicken.

9Bake at 350° for 25 minutes, covered.

10Uncover and bake 25 minutes longer.
