- 2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. mixed herbs
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 beaten egg
- 7 oz. milk
Directions

1Mix flour, salt, baking powder and herbs.

2Cut butter into small pieces and rub into dry ingredients.

3Stir in the sugar; add eggs to the milk and stir into mixture.

4Mix well; put into a greased and floured loaf pan.

5Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
