  • 8 hot dog buns
  • 1/2 c. (1 stick) oleo, softened
  • 1 tsp. crushed dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp. crushed dried parsley

Directions

    Split buns in quarters lengthwise.

    Set out overnight so they are easier to spread.

    Blend butter and herbs; spread on cut surfaces of buns.

    Preheat oven to 300°.

    Arrange buns on cookie sheet; bake for 45 to 60 minutes, until lightly browned.

    Makes 32 sticks.

    Store in covered container.

    Can be done in microwave.
