- 1 lb. fresh broccoli
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. chopped basil leaves
- 1 tsp. chopped oregano leaves
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 Roma tomatoes, chopped
Directions

1Trim large leaves and tough ends from broccoli; wash broccoli. Cut into 1-inch pieces.

2Heat 1 inch water in medium saucepan.

3Add broccoli; cover and heat to boiling.

4Reduce heat.

5Simmer for about 10 minutes, or until crisp-tender.

6Rinse with cold water and drain.

7Heat oil in skillet over medium heat.

8Add basil, oregano, salt, garlic and tomatoes.

9Heat for about 1 minute, stirring frequently, until hot.

10Pour over broccoli and toss.
