- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp. oregano
- 2 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. basil
- 4 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 6 c. dry bread cubes (day old bread is best)
Directions

1Mix cheese, oregano, garlic powder, basil, salt and pepper; set aside.

2Toss bread cubes in a large bowl with the oil; then add cheese-herb mixture.

3Toss thoroughly.

4Spread on an ungreased cookie sheet.

5Bake at 225° for 45 minutes to an hour, turning occasionally, until light golden and crisp.

6Cool.

7Store in plastic bags with tie or in jars with tight lids.

8Will keep about one month.
