  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1 large egg (whisked with 1 tablespoon water for egg wash)

  • 14 cup fresh rosemary (or a combination) or 14 cup fresh thyme (or a combination)

    Stir in flour, oil, 2 teaspoons salt, and sugar until a dough forms; turn out onto a floured surface and knead until smooth, about 2 minutes.

    Transfer to a lightly oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
