Herbed Salmon Ball

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 3/4 oz.) can salmon
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme, crumbled
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (soft)
  • 1/2 c. smal curd cottage cheese
  • 1 tsp. fines herbes, crumbled
  • 1 c. parsley
  • crackers

Directions

    Drain salmon.

    Remove skin if desired.

    Mash bones.

    Combine cream cheese, garlic, cottage cheese, onion, fines herbes and thyme until well blended.

    Stir in salmon to blend.

    Chill 3 hours.

    Mixture will be soft.

    Roll in parsley and walnuts.

    Serve with crackers.
