  • 1 (12 oz.) jar herring in cream, drained
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/3 c. ripe olives
  • 1/3 c. fresh parsley
  • juice of half a lemon

    Puree in processor.

    Put in crock, cover and chill.

    Serve on party rye.

    Garnish with chopped ripe olives and chopped hard-cooked egg.
