Ingredients

  • 1 c. + 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. butter, softened
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/3 c. coconut

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375°.

    In first bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.

    In second bowl, beat brown sugar, butter and vanilla until creamy.

    Add egg; beat well.

    Gradually add flour mixture from first bowl.

    Stir in 1 1/3 cups chocolate chips, nuts and coconut.

    Spread into foil lined 9-inch square baking pan.

    Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes.
