Ingredients: 8 oz. plain Hershey chocolate candy; 5 1/2 oz. can chocolate syrup; 1 c. (2 sticks) butter or margarine; 2 c. sugar; 4 eggs; 2 1/2 c. flour; 1/2 tsp. soda; 1 c. buttermilk; 1 c. pecans; 1 tsp. vanilla

2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

Melt Hershey candy and syrup in double boiler.

Cool.

Cream butter and sugar; add whole eggs, one at a time.

Add chocolate mixture.

Add flour and soda alternately with buttermilk.

Add nuts and vanilla.

Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325°, using greased tube pan.
