- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
- 6 Hershey bars, melted
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. plain flour, sifted
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter; add eggs, one at a time; beat well. Add syrup and melted candy.

2Add salt to flour and soda to buttermilk; add to other ingredients.

3Add vanilla and pour into greased tube pan.

4Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.

5Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove.
