- 3 eggs
- 1 c. dark corn syrup
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. water
- 3/4 c. hickory nutmeats
Directions

1Combine sugar, flour and salt.

2Add beaten eggs.

3Mix water with syrup and combine with egg mixture.

4Add the nuts and butter last.

5Pour into unbaked pie shell.

6Bake at 425° for 10 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350° and bake 35 minutes longer. Yields one 9-inch pie.
