- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 unsweetened chocolate squares
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 to 1 c. nuts
- 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease and flour 8-inch pan.

3Melt butter and chocolate, cool to lukewarm.

4Gradually blend in sugar. Add beaten eggs and vanilla.

5Add flour and salt to chocolate mix.

6Stir in nuts.
-
7Spread in pan and bake 25 minutes.

8Cool before cutting.
-
9May frost or sprinkle with powdered sugar.

10May add 1/2 cup chocolate chips with nuts.

11May double recipe and use 9 x 13-inch pan.

12If you double just use 3 chocolate squares unless you like it really strong chocolate.
