- 225 g self rising flour
- 225 g white sugar
- 225 g quick-cooking rolled oats
- 225 g butter
- 1 tablespoon syrup or 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon hot water
- 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
Directions

1Turn on oven to 180c.

2Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl.

3Melt butter syrup and water very gently don't let it get to hot.

4Pour onto the dry ingredients.

5Mix well and form into balls about 25g each.

6Place on a cookie sheet covered with non stick baking paper.

7Bake for 15 minutes.

8Leave for a minute on the cookie sheet then cool on a wire rack.

9Enjoy.
