  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. corn oil
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. grated apples
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Sift all dry ingredients together, add apples. Mix well, add eggs, corn oil and vanilla.

    Beat well, add nuts.

    Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.

    Top with Glazed Icing while cake is still hot.
