  • 1/2 c. white corn syrup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 c. chopped nut meats
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Boil sugar, syrup and water until mixture dropped in cold water turns brittle (no longer, watch close, test often).

    Pour slowly over stiffly beaten whites of egg; add nuts and flavoring. Beat until mixture is creamy.

    Pour on buttered platter.
