- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 2 c. cake flour
- 1 Tbsp. sherry or vanilla
- 1 (4 oz.) jar chopped candied citron or your favorite chopped candied fruit
Directions

1Cream the butter or margarine with the sugar.

2Beat in the eggs, one at a time, beating 1 minute after each addition.

3Blend in the cake flour, sherry or vanilla and candied citron or other fruit.

4Line a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan with heavy-duty Reynolds Wrap.

5Pour in batter.

6Bake in preheated oven at 325° for 1 hour and 45 minutes.

7Frost with simple confectioners sugar icing. Decorate with candied fruits.
