  • 6 eggs
  • 4 c. plain flour
  • 1 lb. light brown sugar
  • 1 lb. butter (do not substitute)
  • 1/2 lb. candied cherries
  • 1/2 lb. candied pineapple
  • 2 c. pecans
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar slowly.

    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

    Add flavoring, add sifted dry ingredients slowly; then add cherries, pineapple and nuts.

    Bake 1 hour at 300° to 325° or until done.
