- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp milk
- pinch ground black pepper
- 700 grams Red potatoes
- 2 1/2 tbsp butter
Directions

1Wash the potatoes well, leaving the skins on.

2Place potatoes in a large saucepan.

3Cover with water and 1 tsp salt.

4Cover and bring to the boil.

5Reduce heat, cook for 20-30 minutes or under tender.

6Drain potatoes well and place in a large bowl

7Mash the potatoes manually using a potatoe masher.

8Then transfer to a large bowl, add the milk, butter, and pepper and a pinch of salt.

9Using an electrical beater, beat on low speed until the potatoes are light and fluffy, add extra milk if too thick.

10Check seasoning, and serve pipping hot.
