Ingredients
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 3 envelopes yeast
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 c. oil
- 1 c. hot water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- flour
Directions

1Mix the first 2 ingredients together.

2Add yeast.

3Let stand 15 to 20 minutes.

4Dissolve sugar in water and add yeast.

5Let stand until bubbly (15 to 20 minutes).

6Beat eggs; add sugar, salt, oil and water.

7Mixture should be slightly warm.

8Add yeast and mix thoroughly.

9Add flour, 2 to 3 cups at a time, until dough is soft and manageable.

10Oil the bottom and sides of a very large bowl or Dutch oven.

11Place dough in bowl and turn to coat with oil.

12Let stand 2 to 4 hours until doubled in bulk.

13Take out, knead and shape into loaves.

14Grease loaf pans.

15Add dough and cover and let rise again for 40 to 50 minutes.

16Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes.
