  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 qt. lukewarm milk
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 yeast cakes
  • 3 Tbsp. lard
  • 3 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Knead all ingredients until a dent made with your fingers fills quickly.

    Let rise until doubles in bulk (about 3 hours). Place in pans.

    Let rise until double in bulk (about 1 hour). Bake in 350° oven.
