Homemade Kahlua

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. Yuban instant coffee (I use Folger's)
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 4 c. sugar
  • 4 c. vodka (I use Korskies)
  • 1 vanilla bean

Directions

    Put vanilla bean in the bottom of 1 gallon jug (dark brown jug if available).

    Use a funnel and add coffee, sugar and boiling water, then add vodka.

    Invert once or twice.

    Invert weekly.

    Let set 2 to 4 weeks before drinking.

    Store in a dark cool place. Enjoy!
