Ingredients

  • 2 c. lukewarm water
  • 3 to 4 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pkg. active dry yeast
  • 3/4 c. sugar

Directions

    Mix flour and sugar together.

    Dissolve yeast in warm water. Beat egg with a fork.

    Melt margarine.

    Mix all together thoroughly.

    Cut out like biscuits.

    Place in pan and let stand at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before baking.

    Bake at 400° for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
