Ingredients

  • 5 3/4 to 6 3/4 c. bread flour
  • 1/3 c. instant nonfat dry milk
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1/3 c. butter, softened
  • 2 c. warm water

Directions

    Mix 2 cups flour, milk, sugar, salt and yeast.

    Add butter. Gradually add warm water and beat 2 minutes at medium speed with mixer.

    Stir in enough flour to make a stiff dough.

    Turn out onto a lightly floured board and knead about 8 to 10 minutes.

    Place in greased bowl, turning to grease top.

    Cover and let rise in a warm place about 45 minutes.

    Punch down and allow to rise again 20 minutes.

    Divide dough in half and cut each into 10 pieces.

    Form into rolls and place on greased sheet.

    Cover and let rise 1 hour. Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes.
