  • 1 beef bones or 1 ham bone
  • 3 quarts water
  • 12 cup pearl barley
  • 2 medium chopped carrots
  • 1 medium chopped potato
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 cup cut up celery
  • 1 cup cut up turnip
  • 12 cup Minute Rice

Directions

    Combine first 3 ingredients and boil gently for 1 1/2 hours.

    Add vegetables and simmer for 1/2 hour more.
